The Amaryan Charitable Foundation Supports the Olympiad Education Program at PhysMath

As part of its education-focused initiatives, the Amaryan Charitable Foundation is supporting the Olympiad Education Program implemented by the PhysMath Friends Charitable Foundation.

The program aims to ensure the operation of the Olympiad training clubs at the Physics and Mathematics School (PhysMath), providing free advanced instruction in Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, and Astronomy. While based at PhysMath, the clubs are also open to students from other schools across Armenia, expanding access to high-quality Olympiad education for talented young learners.

During the 2026–2027 academic year, the program will be implemented, building on the successful experience and achievements of the 2025–2026 academic year. During the previous academic year, the program:

• operated 14 Olympiad training clubs,
• offered 29 weekly sessions, and
• engaged approximately 400 students in grades 7-12.

Activities include advanced subject instruction, Olympiad problem-solving, preparation for national and international competitions, and individual mentoring.

The Olympiad education ecosystem developed at PhysMath has made a significant contribution to Armenia's achievements in international STEM competitions. PhysMath students have earned 115 of Armenia's 156 international Olympiad medals over the past decade. In 2025, they won 11 of Armenia's 17 medals at international Olympiads, while at the 2026 Zhautykov Olympiad, they earned 11 of Armenia's 21 medals.

Through this collaboration, the Amaryan Charitable Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that expand access to high-quality education and foster academic excellence in Armenia.
